Terms of Service

Welcome to flowfolio. By accessing or using the flowfolio web application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Flowfolio is a visual bookmark workspace that lets you save, organize, and explore websites. Features include automatic screenshot capture, design token extraction, technology stack detection, performance analysis, sitemap discovery, media asset extraction, and shared collections.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use flowfolio. You may register with an email address and password or through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update it as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Bookmark, store, or share content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or abusive
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the Service beyond normal personal use
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service, including bookmarks, notes, and collection descriptions. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to operate and provide the Service.

Bookmark metadata — including screenshots, design tokens, tech stack data, performance metrics, sitemaps, and media assets — is automatically generated from publicly available information on the web pages you bookmark. This generated data is stored as part of your bookmarks.

5. Shared & Public Collections

You may share collections publicly or invite other users to collaborate. When you share a collection publicly, its bookmarks and metadata are accessible to anyone with the link. When you invite members, those users can view and, depending on their role, edit bookmarks in the collection.

You are responsible for the content you share. Do not share collections containing private, sensitive, or infringing content unless you have the right to do so.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by flowfolio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Third-Party Services

Flowfolio integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Vercel, Google (OAuth and PageSpeed Insights), and Resend. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms and policies.

Bookmarks link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any external sites.

8. Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, flowfolio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless flowfolio and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though provisions that by nature should survive (such as limitation of liability and indemnification) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
